A SOFTWARE firm founded by Swansea graduates is decimating international competition with its anti-spam technology.
NetBop Technologies has won a biennial gold award from Web User magazine for its BopSpam product, beating major American developers.
Founder Andrew Downie, 24, launched BopSpam just over two years ago. It has received top star ratings for its features ease of use and performance.
NetBop’s clients include the University of Wales, Swansea, as well as a local hospital.
Lyn Harris of Swansea Chamber of Commerce said,
“The chamber has been using BopSpam to filter its emails for the last two years. It has certainly proved worthwhile in terms of saving time and the hassle of having to go through a deluge of emails each day to manually filter out the spam mail.”
A BopSpam corporate service will be commercially available towards the end of next month.
